Regular Pool Maintenance

As we head into summer its time to turn your attention to your swimming pool.  Most of you will think about filters, ph balance and water clarity etc.  It is also a good time to do a bit of regular maintenance.

As most pools are outside and set into decks or gardens there is always something to do.  Our advice is to go out with a can of CRC and oil all your hinges and latches to make sure they close properly.

Take your clippers with you as well.  Vegetation grows all the time and its incursion on your pool area can be incremental and not noticed.  For your pool fencing (as opposed to your boundary fencing) the rule is that it has to be 1.2m high and nothing to aid In climbing on the outside of that fence.  I find the best way to assess is to use a tape measure.  Lock it off at 1.2m, put the end on the top of the fence and then swing an arc with the other end.  See my pic.  Make sure there is nothing in that arc.

Try us you’ll notice the difference.
